Just over a year ago, Sneedville Mercy took on the responsibility of managing a struggling homeless ministry in Morristown, Tennessee. Through the dedication of many wonderful volunteers and divine intervention, we have been able to sustain the ministry. In February 2024, First Baptist Church of Morristown generously allowed us to use one of their buildings, which includes a kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, a dining hall, and ample storage for clothes and hygiene products. This space is temporary, as the building is scheduled for demolition. We are currently serving over 50 meals on Saturdays and Sundays. We ask for your prayers that God will continue to bless our efforts and help us find a more permanent location.

To distinguish this work from our other ministries, we have created the name My Father’s Kitchen, as many of our volunteers are not directly associated with our church or with Sneedville Mercy.
