Pastor Harold Nichols

Pastor Harold Nichols began his theological journey at Tabernacle Baptist College, where he earned his degree in biblical studies. His dedication to ministry led him to serve as a military chaplain in the U.S. Navy, providing spiritual guidance and support to service members during the Gulf War. After retiring from the Navy, he spent two decades as a Baptist minister in South Carolina.

In 2014, Pastor Nichols and his family relocated to Hancock County, Tennessee, where he founded a home church and developed local ministries to support the Appalachian community. Today, he serves as the lead pastor of True Faith Ministries and as a missionary to Liberia, dividing his time between the church and the mission field.

In Gbarnga, Liberia, Pastor Nichols has planted a church with 60 active members and built an orphanage that currently houses 24 children. He is also training more than 30 aspiring pastors to establish home churches across Liberia, continuing his mission to spread the Gospel and build a lasting spiritual foundation in the region.
