Our Mission and Vision
To be a beacon of faith and a mission-focused community, dedicated to advancing the Kingdom of
God in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We aspire to deepen our understanding of
God’s Word, particularly the King James Bible and other inspired manuscripts, to comprehend our
role in the prophetic end days. We are committed to observing the true Sabbath and upholding the
teachings of Matthew 25:34-40 by serving others with compassion and love. Our Church aims to
stand apart from worldly customs, reflecting the purity and holiness of Christ in all that we do.
Church Doctrinal Statement
The Holy Scriptures:
We believe the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired and infallible Word of God, the ultimate authority for faith and practice. We affirm the King James Version (KJV) Bible as our primary translation for study and teaching, alongside other inspired texts that faithfully transmit God’s Word.
The Godhead:
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Creation:
We believe that God created the heavens, the earth, and all that is in them in six literal 24-hour days, approximately 6,000 years ago. This belief is grounded in the Genesis account of creation and affirmed by a literal interpretation of the biblical timeline.
Humanity:
We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, but through Adam’s sin, all have inherited a sinful nature. This original sin separates humanity from God, and only through faith in Jesus Christ can this relationship be restored.
The Person and Work of Christ:
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit:
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and who regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers all believers for ministry.
Salvation:
We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith, in Jesus Christ. All who repent and believe in Him are justified by His blood. We also affirm the doctrine of eternal security, holding that once a person is truly born again by the Spirit of God, they are eternally secure in their salvation. This security is based on the power of God, the promise of Christ, and the sealing of the Holy Spirit.
The Church:
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and the importance of the local church for worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism. We emphasize separation from the world and adherence to biblical principles in all aspects of life.
The Ordinances:
We believe in the ordinances of believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper as acts of obedience and symbols of our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Christian Life:
We believe that Christians are called to live a life of holiness, being transformed by the renewing of their minds and walking in obedience to God’s Word. We uphold the sanctity of the Sabbath day as a time for worship, rest, and spiritual renewal. We abstain from secular holidays and customs, focusing instead on the biblical Feasts of Israel as a teaching to better understand our history and future.
Family Values:
We believe in the importance of the family unit as the foundational institution of society, ordained by God. Parents are responsible for the spiritual, moral, and physical upbringing of their children. We emphasize the roles of fathers and mothers in nurturing and instructing their children in the ways of the Lord, and we support family values that align with biblical principles.
Sanctity of Life:
We value human life as all life is created by God, and we stand firmly against abortion in all circumstances. We believe that life begins at conception and that each life is precious and sacred. Our commitment to the sanctity of life compels us to protect and defend the unborn, advocating for their right to life and opposing any actions that would terminate a pregnancy. We also support compassionate care and guidance for mothers, fathers, and families facing difficult circumstances, pointing them toward life-affirming alternatives and the hope found in Jesus Christ.
Social Issues:
We uphold biblical teachings on morality and sexuality, believing that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and that any sexual activity outside this union is sinful. We affirm the inherent dignity and worth of every individual but do not support the LGBTQ+ lifestyle, which we believe is contrary to biblical teaching. We encourage compassionate outreach and support for individuals struggling with these issues, pointing them toward the transformative power of the Gospel. We also stand firmly against “woke” ideologies that contradict biblical values.
Rejection of Secularism:
We reject secularism and its influence on our lives. This includes abstaining from participation in secular holidays, secular television, secular movies, and other forms of entertainment that do not align with biblical principles. We believe such involvement can lead to spiritual compromise and distract from our commitment to live holy and set-apart lives dedicated to God.
Church Discipline:
We believe in the importance of church discipline as a means of maintaining the purity and integrity of the body of Christ. Church discipline is carried out in accordance with the teachings of Scripture, aiming for the restoration of the individual and the edification of the church. The process includes:
• Private Confrontation: Addressing the sin privately with the individual (Matthew 18:15).
• Small Group Confrontation: If the individual does not repent, addressing the sin with one or two witnesses (Matthew 18:16).
• Church Confrontation: If the individual still refuses to repent, bringing the matter before the church (Matthew 18:17).
• Disfellowship: If the individual remains unrepentant, excommunicating them from the church to protect the body and encourage repentance (1 Corinthians 5:11-13).
Church Leadership:
We believe in the biblical model of church leadership consisting of pastors, elders, and deacons. The pastor is the primary shepherd of the congregation, responsible for preaching, teaching, and overseeing the spiritual well-being of the church. Elders share in the leadership responsibilities, providing spiritual guidance, oversight, and support to the pastor and congregation. Deacons serve by assisting in the practical needs of the church, enabling the pastor and elders to focus on prayer and the ministry of the Word. All leaders are to meet the qualifications outlined in Scripture (1 Timothy 3; Titus 1) and are to serve with humility, integrity, and a heart for God’s people.
Return of Christ:
We believe in the blessed hope of the personal and visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ to establish His kingdom and to judge the living and the dead. Though we anticipate a post-tribulation rapture of the Church and the fulfillment of God’s ultimate plan for redemption, we realize this can happen at any time.
Mission:
We believe in the Great Commission given by our Lord Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded. We also emphasize the call to serve “the least of these,” as outlined in Matthew 25:34-40, by meeting practical needs and demonstrating Christ’s love in action.
